Appointment of Director for Europe and Middle East
Elite Energy is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Miller as a Director on the board of Elite with responsibility for Europe and Middle East.
Stephen is an upstream oil & gas executive with over 20 years of experience spanning both service company and operator. He started his career working in multiphase flow assurance and production optimisation, and progressed through to overseeing the SIS (Schlumberger Information Solutions) Production Portfolio for Europe, CIS and Africa.
In 2006 Stephen joined BG Group in the Production Technology function and ran the global PDMS (Production Data Management System) programme. Between 2008-2011 he set-up and ran the Surface IT organisation, responsible for the full suite of applications across Production, Operations, Well Engineering, Capital Projects and HSE. He then moved back into the Global Operations Function focussing on supporting asset improvement projects which ultimately led to him overseeing the work to develop BG’s Operational Excellence framework and OE assessment process.
In 2014 Stephen joined ConocoPhillips as the Senior Manager for Operational Excellence in Malaysia. Seconded to the KPOC JV, and as a member of the local asset leadership team, he was responsible for developing and embedding local work processes, along with under-pinning technologies. He had local responsibility for Integrated Operations, Integrated Activity Planning, Maintenance Management Systems, Warehouse and Logistics.
